Cullen REDDY
I’m an expert office manager whose administrative career started in high school,
having a background in customer service, facilities, vendor relations, shipping logistics, and
event coordination. I'm also an engineer with a dedication for languages and linguistics, advanced
in four human languages, having competency in more as I'm always studying in much of my free time. Moreover - and not lastly! - I'm a pet caretaker.
I've been house sitting for my community's cats and dogs since childhood, but since 2020 have been doing longer term stays for people who have out
of town needs for a month or two.
As an OM, I'm a dynamic presence in the office. I have over a decade's experince in
administrative work. I thrive off interactive roles and simultaneously enjoy working behind the scenes.
I revel in helping companies run seemelessly and proactively attend to the wellbeing of the office,
building, and workspaces. During the pandemic, I was walking down Diviz and happened upon a box on the street with some books about programming and linguistics.
Naturally, I brought those home and looked through them; they inspired me to learn about data science and engineering, and I'm so happy to have spent the time doing that,
but I am ready and thrilled to return to what I do best - office management. I'm looking forward to joining a team that upholds the values of transparency, ownership,
and continuous improvement. My bosses have always adored me and I know you and your team will as well!
In terms of programming, I'm excited to dive deeper into web development, data
science, and machine learning building off my experiences with JavaScript and Python. Naturally
curious and passionate, I'm eager to see how natural language processing changes how we interact with our environments and communities.
As a house and pet sitter, I relish bonding with your furry friends. I love how dogs get me active and out of the house way more
often than I normally would venture, exploring and making community at local parks, and how full my heart is when cats learn to tolerate my smothering of
adoration or to sleep by my side. I currently only house sit in Oakland, Berkeley, and San Francisco as I still have other responsibilities to attend to each week.
